I am a Foodie. Now that doesn't mean I love to cook, but I do love to eat. I love different food, spicy food, and sometimes what others call weird food. This past year has taken me on a food path that I wasn't prepared for. My thyroid issues actually had stemmed from what I now believe to be an allergic reaction....a reaction to gluten. To make a long story short, I do not have to take thyroid medication now and my energy is back to the 'dance in the living room' level again but I must watch what I eat. Which brings me to today's blog photos.
Jaz and I went to Half-Price Books this week. I found the book, "Allergy-free Cookbook" by Alice Sherwood. I was instantly intrigued and when I saw the recipe for noodles in hot ginger broth, I knew that book was going in my shoppin' buggy.
I went to the store and bought items in which some, I had never purchased before...........therefore, the pic below:
