What a fun weekend! This past weekend was the annual Shoot the Hills photo contest in the Hocking Hills. It gives photographers from all around the country a chance to capture the beauty of the Hocking Hills area. We have 24 hours to shoot. We are given 5 categories to choose from and only allowed to enter up to 5 photos. Plus one in a Photographers Choice category. Some years we have had close to 150 photographers compete. Not sure of this years total number, but there were alot of us!
Anyway, I wanted to share a couple shots with you all. This one received first place in the landscape division.
This one an honorable mention in the wildlife category. Yes, a bug is considered wildlife :) I wasn't sure myself........
BOB.......my groundhog I am trying to save. Well, his photo didn't win anything, but I could not believe that he came out of his hole on the very day I was in the contest. I talked to him nicely and he let me take these photos. Isn't he so cute!!
Bob should have won!
