Frequently asked questions.......

I had meetings with some wonderful newly engaged couples over the last week or so. Today, I met with Julian & Lauren and I am so excited to be shooting their wedding next July! Lauren was prepared, as most brides are, so I thought I would take a minute to briefly try to answer some frequently asked ???'s.......

1. Would I describe myself as mostly a photojournalistic or traditional shooter?
Answer: I like to be a nice mixture, but lean more towards the photojournalism side. I would say 70/30.....70% of the day being capturing candid moments, the actual ceremony, and all the fun of the reception. 30% of the day......I try to gently guide couples into natural/fun poses. I realize that the majority of clients still want to have some traditional family photos and those are included as well.

2. How long does it take to receive my wedding photos after the wedding day?
Answer: My goal is within 3-4 weeks for you to see them online....then, within a week or so of that time, you will receive your proofs.

3. How many pictures do I get ?
Answer: I go through all photos one by one to present you with the best 300-400 photos to represent your day. If a cd is included in your package, I will sometimes put a folder on it to give you some fun extras/out-takes that you may want to see.

4. Do I get a copyright release with purchase of cd/or if is included in package?
Answer: YES

5. Who is your second photographer?
Answer: My husband, Max. He is a great compliment, especially for getting another viewpoint and wonderful candid shots. Sometimes, as a bonus, my daughter is able to accompany us as a 3rd shooter/lighting assistant. We are a family business :)
