Wedding-Timothy & Valerie

Smiles, Laughs, and Love......I saw alot of those wonderful things on Tim & Valerie's wedding day. Valerie's laugh, Tim's smile, and the love that you could honestly see on their faces was a pleasure to be able to capture. Thanks to all their family and friends who made us feel so welcomed and appreciated!!!

MUST Photograph Shoes...

We have the regular shot of everyone looking and smiling, but this is the one I adore!

Keep Laughing and Smiling all your married life!!

Frequently asked questions.......

I had meetings with some wonderful newly engaged couples over the last week or so. Today, I met with Julian & Lauren and I am so excited to be shooting their wedding next July! Lauren was prepared, as most brides are, so I thought I would take a minute to briefly try to answer some frequently asked ???'s.......

1. Would I describe myself as mostly a photojournalistic or traditional shooter?
Answer: I like to be a nice mixture, but lean more towards the photojournalism side. I would say 70/30.....70% of the day being capturing candid moments, the actual ceremony, and all the fun of the reception. 30% of the day......I try to gently guide couples into natural/fun poses. I realize that the majority of clients still want to have some traditional family photos and those are included as well.

2. How long does it take to receive my wedding photos after the wedding day?
Answer: My goal is within 3-4 weeks for you to see them online....then, within a week or so of that time, you will receive your proofs.

3. How many pictures do I get ?
Answer: I go through all photos one by one to present you with the best 300-400 photos to represent your day. If a cd is included in your package, I will sometimes put a folder on it to give you some fun extras/out-takes that you may want to see.

4. Do I get a copyright release with purchase of cd/or if is included in package?
Answer: YES

5. Who is your second photographer?
Answer: My husband, Max. He is a great compliment, especially for getting another viewpoint and wonderful candid shots. Sometimes, as a bonus, my daughter is able to accompany us as a 3rd shooter/lighting assistant. We are a family business :)

Wedding-Michael & Barbara

Red.....the color of LOVE....and Ohio State! I knew when we did engagement pics on the Ohio St. campus, that Michael and Barbara were full of love for each other and the Buckeyes.
Anyone that knows me, knows that I have a thing for shoes. Barbara had the best of both worlds-FAB red ceremony shoes and YES--Ohio State flip-flops for the reception. LOVED IT!!

The rain cleared and allowed us to sneak a few shots by the water.

Thanks for everything!! Many Happy Years Together!!

Wedding-Eric & Kristi

Eric and Kristi are used to adventure! Their weekends are full of fun and excitement with sky-diving, but this weekend was a different adventure---their wedding. We had a little rain at Confluence Park, but after the ceremony, the rain subsided and gave way to some fun shots over looking the city. And at the end of the night, their friends and family surrounded them in dance. It was a beautiful thing to see!
Hopefully I will be able to photograph more highlights of your married life as, in time, your family grows :)

A picture of the beautiful cake.....BEFORE & AFTER :)

Combine good friends and M.J.'s Thriller and you get the shot on the left.....

Congrats!!

Engagement-Matt & Alicia

I love an engagement session that starts with cream slushies from Sonic and pics in front of the Burrito Buggy! Matt and Alicia were up for whatever craziness I had in mind. And as anyone that knows me will testify, if we can add food and picture-taking together, then I am a HAPPY woman! I saw the Burrito Buggy when doing a wedding a couple weeks ago, but we were a little time crunched so I just stashed the idea away in my head until it was possible to get a fun-lovin' couple to kiss in front of it. This was the time......we even asked permission beforehand and the lady was nice enough to allow it.

I LOVE the backlighting.........

I wanted an engagement ring pic that wasn't the normal......so..........
