Wedding-Nick & Donna

I booked with Nick and Donna last year. They were my first booking for 2009 in the year 2008. It was with long anticipation that their wedding day finally arrived. And it was a gorgeous Saturday! Donna is a do-it-herself kind of girl.....she did her own hair (which was beautiful), her own makeup, and in between, decorated the church and touched up her Mom's hair. Nick was willing to take as many pictures as we could fit into the time frame and the guys just wanted to have fun :) It was a great group!

A few detail shots......

Gorgeous Donna and her bouquet (which they made themselves).

Her necklace that was handmade by a friend.

The cowboy and his boots!

Genuine Happiness.....

A few traditional shots of family and bridal party....

and not so traditional....

Nick's bestman was Grandpa Jack. He made everyone smile :)

The reception was at Rising Park. I LOVED the cake....absolutely special!

50th Anniversary Party

This past Sunday took me to Confluence Park in Columbus. I had recently been there for a wedding filled with love, friends, and family. This time I was there to capture what 50 years after the wedding results in. Continued love, life-time friends, & an expanded family. It was a joy to be there both times!!

I LOVED seeing the couples wedding photo! Her gown was exceptional!

All in the family :)

And you never know who will show up at a party! Like the governor of Ohio!

It was an extra special occasion for all!

Wedding- Van & Erin

I didn't meet Van & Erin until the wedding day. Thanks to the world-wide-web and a wonderful relative, I was contacted by Erin. Since they live out-of-state, we did everything via email. I couldn't have asked for a better first meeting. They made us feel welcomed from the start of the day until the end. The weather was fabulous and the so set the tone for the whole wedding. I do occasionally cry for joy at weddings and today was one of them. Their love for each other was so obvious. I am a hopeless romantic so that left me with tears in my eyes and joy in my heart. Here are just a few pictures from their wedding day at COSI.

Black and white theme.......very elegant!

Groom details....
Bride details....

Anxious Anticipation!

I loved Van's expression when he saw Erin for the first time!

Sparklers and a then they rode off into the night-time cityscape. What a great way to end the day!

Wear the Dress-more than once

Don't you want to be able to wear your dress more than one time? Pre-Bridals and Post-Wedding photography shoots are soooo much fun. These were shot in downtown Lancaster and at the Decorative Arts Center.

It isn't everyday you get to twirl in your wedding dress!
